Fundraising FAQs
I want to fundraise for DeadlyScience. Where do I start?
Thank you so much for choosing to fundraise for DeadlyScience. If you would like some ideas on how to fundraise, visit our Support Us page. You can also take part in an organised event. If you'd like to do something else, that's ok too! We're here to help. Contact us at fundraising@deadlyscience.org.au.
Are there any downloadable materials I can use to support my fundraising?
We're working on creating a fundraising resource hub, full of tools and resources to support your fundraising. Check back soon for our new downloadable materials.
Can I get a DeadlyScience t-shirt or running vest for my fundraising or event?
All fundraisers will receive a running vest (if you're taking part in a running event) or t-shirt (if you're doing other fundraising) once you've raised a minimum of $100. You can purchase additional t-shirts and caps from the DeadlyScience shop.
Can I use the DeadlyScience logo for my fundraising?
You can use our 'Supporting' logo if you are fundraising for DeadlyScience. This is different from the main charity logo, and makes it clear you are fundraising in support of DeadlyScience but do not represent the charity.
All use of the logo should be approved by the charity before printing any item featuring the logo, such as merchandise or materials. Approval requests can be sent to marketing@deadlyscience.org.au.
Please do not upload our 'Supporting' logo to AI platforms to generate your own version. DeadlyScience owns the rights to the logo, it cannot be edited.
To get a copy of the 'Supporting' logo, plus instructions on how to use it, please email us with details of your fundraising at marketing@deadlyscience.org.au.
How does the money I raise online get to the charity?
Funds raised through our preferred platforms - Funraisin and Grassrootz - will automatically be transferred to the charity.
How will the money I raise be used?
Your fundraising will help us deliver hands-on STEM programs, provide culturally relevant resources to remote and regional education providers, and empower educators to create inclusive, inspiring learning environments.
